I completely understand the importance of finding the perfect buttons for a knitting project. They are beautiful, and they match perfectly with your sweater.
I laughed about the cost of the buttons in comparison to the yarn …. The pompom on my hat is probably 2x the cost of the yarn ….. but I love it and always get compliments.
Love the new sweater and congrats on your weight loss …. Yay!!!
Good choice. I did that once - I had a sweater I made that was never flattering, so I deconstructed and reknit the yarn. Looking forward to seeing how you repurpose it.

Very nice.
That sweater was stunning! But so is your new one.
I have a few sweaters that I need to rework too. The red yarn is so nice.
Oh what fun you will have reknitting that lovely red yarn.
Super nice buttons! And all that gorgeous red yarn is like you just went shopping. 🛍️
Gorgeous buttons and that reclaimed yarn, too!!
Love these very special buttons. They will be great on the cabled sweater.
Looking forward to seeing your finished sweater, those buttons are gorgeous! PS, so is the cat ;).
Ripley is blushing! (Do cats blush??)

It may be a bit. I’m on sleeve island with that grey sweater.
Is that a Faery Ring? I have one of those half made. Same yarn, different color. Both sweaters and the buttons are beautiful.
It is (was) a Faery ring. It would likely have been flattering if I’d knit it to fit better.
Those buttons are gorgeous! Can you tell us how you refurbished the yarn? It looks brand new!
I just posted on how I did this!
